Tessa Lynn Thompson, an artist and performer born in Los Angeles was born in 1983. The actress is the daughter the singer and songwriter Marc Anthony Thompson and the grandchild of musician-actor Bobby Ramos. She was born in Los Angeles and raised there before relocating to Brooklyn. She's of Mexican, British Isles and Afro-Panamanian origin.
